Mike Schardt
Chairman of the Board
Mike grew up in the Midwest, and has lived in The Woodlands since 1988, where he met his lovely wife, Beth, to whom he’s been faithfully married since 1991. Mike obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Marquette University in 1987 and has worked at Hewitt Associates since then, holding various client management and business leadership roles. When not working, Mike enjoys being with his family, and supporting them in all their activities. Mike has been a Christian since he was a young boy, and has been pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ ever since. Mike is the father of three wonderful children attending Legacy and he and his family are members at WoodsEdge Community Church.
Paige Jones
Secretary
Paige graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 1990 and J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1994. She is currently a partner in the law firm of Dossey & Jones, PLLC in The Woodlands. Paige is married to Daron, who partners with her to teach their children on off-campus school days. As a child, Paige attended Faith United Methodist Church on Sawdust Rd. and is currently a member of the Loft at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at her family’s lake house in Crockett, Texas, enjoying God’s beauty.
Mark Furber
Board Member
Mark grew up in Cochrane, a small town outside Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary (1990) . Like all good Canadians, he played ice hockey from the time he was a toddler, until he moved to Texas in 1995, and discovered there was no ice. Mark married Barbie in 1999 and they are the proud parents of 4 Legacy girls. He received his MBA from Texas A&M University (2008). With the guidance of his wife, Mark came to Christ in Feb 2004. Now his primary endeavor is to lead his family in their walk with the Lord. The Furbers attend WoodsEdge Community Church where Mark is a member of the Children’s Ministry team.
Angie Condley
Board Member
Angie was born and raised in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. She and Husband, Dan, moved to Spring in the summer of 2003. Their three children, Amber, Hannah and Will are students at Legacy. Angie serves on the PTO Board and as Co-Coach for the Cheerleading Squad. She is currently pursuing a degree in Library Science. Angie came to know Christ at the age of 13, but began her intimate walk with Him in January of 2004. The Condleys are members at Faithbridge in Spring, TX. Angie enjoys reading, swimming, hiking, camping, cheering her children’s efforts in sports and studying God’s Word. Angie is extremely passionate about the schools growth and development and is looking forward to all of her children graduating from Legacy Prep.
