Trustee

Brandon is a native Houstonian and the father of 4 boys. He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in Industrial Engineering Technology & Distribution in 1993. For the past 15 years Brandon has worked at Pfizer Inc in various local and regional roles. Currently, he serves as the Texas Medical Center Group Business Manager, Pfizer Inc. When not working Brandon enjoys being with his family and is heavily involved in the boys’ sports teams. Brandon was saved at the age of seven and God’s word has cultivated his life since that time. Brandon enjoys all outdoor events, singing, and interacting with people.

Mike grew up in the Midwest, and has lived in The Woodlands since 1988, where he met his lovely wife, Beth, to whom he’s been faithfully married since 1991. Mike obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Marquette University in 1987 and has worked at Hewitt Associates since then, holding various client management and business leadership roles. When not working, Mike enjoys being with his family, and supporting them in all their activities. Mike has been a Christian since he was a young boy, and has been pursuing a relationship with Jesus Christ ever since. Mike is the father of three wonderful children attending Legacy and he and his family are members at WoodsEdge Community Church.

Paige graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.B.A. in Accounting in 1990 and J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1994. She is currently a partner in the law firm of Martin, Stilwell & Jones, LLP in The Woodlands. Paige is married to Daron, who partners with her to teach their children, ages 6 and 11, on off-campus school days. As a child, Paige attended Faith United Methodist Church on Sawdust Rd. and is currently a member of the Loft at The Woodlands United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at her family’s lake house in Crockett, Texas, enjoying God’s beauty.

Matt grew up in Spring and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1991. After several years in the business world, Matt was called to plant a church in the Spring area. He has served faithfully as the Pastor at Creekside Church for the past 5 years. His two children, Jake 11 and Julia 9, both attend Legacy. He has been married to Stephanie Koppelman for 16 years and supports her as she serves as co-teacher to their children and as the Dean of Family Ministry at Legacy. While not working Matt enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf. Matt put his faith in Jesus Christ at a very early age and is dedicated to full time vocational ministry. One of his favorite passages is Romans 12:1-2.

Mike is currently serving as the controller of a local homebuilder and has been involved in the homebuilding/developing industry for the past 7 years. After graduating from Cedarville University with a Finance and Accounting degree in 1997, Mike earned a CPA certification and then spent 5 years working in corporate auditing for a public accounting firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 2007, the Young family moved to Houston to be closer to relatives. Mike and his family found Legacy this past year and Mike now supports his wonderful wife in her role as co-teacher of their two children, ages 6 and 9. Of his faith, Mike says, “I became a Christian as a senior in high school and am now a member at Champion Forest Baptist Church.”

Chris was born and raised in Jackson, MS, but now claim to be a native Texan after 28 years within the state. Chris has been married for 10 years to his wife, Tara and they have two boys ages 4 and 6. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University in 1990. Prior to entering the energy industry in 1997, Chris’ career was primarily focused around financial accounting/analysis. Currently, Chris serves as a Team Leader within a global commodity trading team for Chevron. He enjoys golfing, hiking and any activity with his family. Chris states, “My walk with the Lord started in early elementary school and continues to grow and mature with each passing year.”
