Thank you for your interest in Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy. We are a Private Christian School located in The Woodlands. We meet on a University-Style schedule giving you and your family many benefits that you will be unable to find elsewhere. The first is to give you, as a parent, more time with your child to impart the faith and values that you hold dear. Secondly, through our academically challenging college preparatory curriculum, we will prepare your child to be successful as they enter higher education at a University. Because we meet on a University style schedule, your child will develop the skills of an independent learner far sooner than the traditional types of schooling would allow and bring about a smooth transition for your child as they enter the college or University of their choice. Legacy PCA is a candidate for accreditation through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and AdvancEd.
First and foremost, however, is our desire to inspire our students to become willing vessels for Christ. In Isaiah, chapter 6, the Lord asks a very poignant question. He asks, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for me?” And Isaiah gives the most wonderful answer! An answer that we pray our students will be able to give just as enthusiastically as Isaiah did that day…”Here am I. Send me!” We have chosen this motto because we see the desperate need of our society to know the love of our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. It is our desire that our students will step forward and become the salt and light of this world for the glory of God’s Kingdom!
We are looking forward to having the opportunity to partner with you as a parent and co-instructor as you enjoy the time that a University-Model education restores to your family. Our passion is to equip our students with a biblical worldview that fosters effectiveness for the present need of Christ, and preparedness for His imminent return.
Again, thank you for your interest in Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy. We look forward to having the opportunity to meet with you personally to discuss your child’s admission to the school.
The information here will help you discover the heart and ways of LPCA; yet, it is our desire that each would ultimately discover the heart and ways of Christ.
In His Service,
Audra May
Executive Director

What is a University-Model School?
A University-Model School® is a blend of the most positive aspects from traditional public and private schools as well as home schools, to give elementary through high school a highly successful, college-preparatory education, set in a Christian environment. The key is professional classroom instruction partnered with caring parenting at home.
The immediate goal of the UMS is quality, cost-effective, college-preparatory education accomplished in a way that gives parents more time for imparting the faith and values they hold precious. The ultimate goal is that of producing wholesome, competent men and women of character who make a positive difference for Christ in the next generation.
Who We Are:
The National Association of University-Model Schools® (NAUMS, Inc.), a distinctly Christian organization, was started in 2002, in order to promote this unique model and to provide support and assistance to existing and developing University-Model Schools (UMS) answering the need of so many Christian parents in search of a better educational model for their children.

The First Day of School is Monday, August 23, 2010
Teachers and staff have been working tirelessly to prepare for the 2010-2011 school year. This promises to be the best one yet! The Lord is at work in exciting ways. He's brought us to a great new facility and He has brought to us 111 families and 190 students!
For the first few weeks of class make sure to:
Pray for a smooth transition for all the students
Pray for the teachers
Pray for a peace and excitement for the parents of new UMS students
Pray for a fresh burst of energy and renewed commitment for the parents of returning UMS students
